MELTING FURNACE
FEATURES
This furnace is used to manufacture insulation materials (rock wool) for various applications. It is broadly categorized into two types: the hot-charge method, which uses molten slag from a blast furnace as raw material, and the cold-charge method, which uses ore as raw material. The hot-charge method enables low energy consumption per unit of output. Since a slurry metering device is used, slurry can be supplied stably to the downstream fiber-making line, ensuring excellent product quality.
