Verification tests allow us to confirm whether a target material can be melted, assess its melting characteristics (such as melting point and fluidity), evaluate the progress of any reduction reactions if present, and determine the specific resistance of the slag—a parameter required for the design of the actual melting furnace. Tanabe possesses a demonstration test unit intended to support the introduction of the actual melting furnace, but it is currently undergoing renovation.
