I currently work primarily in administrative management. My specific duties include preparing purchase orders and handling various documents and procedures. As part of my purchase order preparation duties, I order parts used to manufacture our company’s products. Our company designs and manufactures equipment for producing raw materials for rechargeable batteries, a sector that is expanding globally. I arrange for the parts and materials necessary to manufacture this equipment. Our company frequently sends employees on business trips to various regions for on-site product manufacturing and commissioning. Part of my job involves preparing and processing the various documents required for these business trips. When preparing these documents, I communicate with representatives from our business partners. I am still relatively new to the job and have much to learn, but I am able to carry out my duties with the support of our business partners.
I think we have a great work environment here. I was quite nervous before joining the company, but once I actually started, everyone welcomed me warmly. When I have questions during work, my colleagues answer them politely without ever showing any annoyance. Also, the vast majority of employees approach their daily tasks with enthusiasm and dedication. I think we have a vibrant company culture where everyone is motivated to work. The documents I prepare are forwarded to other departments. Collaboration with other departments is essential for smooth operations. At our company, there are no barriers to communication between departments; information is exchanged frequently, creating an atmosphere where problems are resolved quickly. It’s easy to communicate with colleagues both inside and outside my department.
When it comes to my work, I make it a point to ask questions whenever I’m unsure about something. If I just go with a vague hunch—thinking, “This is probably how it’s done”—it can lead to major problems down the line that are difficult to resolve. So, if I sense even the slightest違和感, I make an effort to communicate with those around me and clarify the points that feel off. Since the people around me are often busy, I sometimes hesitate to ask, but I believe it’s important to clarify things before they turn into major problems, so I make a point of asking whenever I’m unsure. In fact, there have been many instances where the person I asked and I had different understandings of the situation, so I truly believe this is essential.
